Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I wasn't always a monster.

Curiosity colored a stallion's mind in a way that he hadn't seen in a long time. The bright colors of it sent off little bells in his head. The way they chimed similar to wind chimes had him slowly moving forward at a pace that was both mellow but strong. An ache formed in his chest, begging to be released from the confines it felt itself in. It wasn't a foreign feeling. Yet, it tasted a touch more bitter than the past rendezvous it had taken with him.

Blinking eyes of an emerald hue, the thick stallion pushed forward through the bog. His long mane hung in soft waves down his neck, reaching past his shoulders. The long strands managed to twist and pull, begging to snap as their lengths randomly caught on branches. The twisting tresses of his tail were the same, but also worse. As mud cracked to the ends and started flaking off, he found himself swatting at flies and covering himself in dust. Some days he enjoyed the way the air turned harder to breathe. On others, he found himself with pinned ears and his body in knee deep water to avoid the dust as he swatted himself with a soaked tail.

Hearing a voice, the stallion named Rutger flicked one ear in that direction before his head turned. Facing the young male, Rutger eyed him for a moment before giving a soft breath as the lagoon's air turned a bit more forceful as a breeze slapped across his haunches. “My name is Rutger.” Came his reply, answering the younger man's question. “I hope I haven't troubled you?” Even though he was the boss, Rutger did have some respect for those around him. Others might have pushed into this other man's space, or worse. However, Rutger stopped his movements and kept a decent amount of space between the two of them.
