Are you okay?
Pan looked up, almost certain she had just heard a voice from the waterfall itself. Could someone stand in the waterfall without being squashed by the weight of it? Or was there a space behind it? Pantheon saw a spotted mare wading through the turbulent waters. Apparently you could stand underneath them. Pan had never thought to try; she had just assumed that you couldn't.
"Were you standing under the falls?" she asked, then backpedaled when she remembered that the mare had asked her a question. "Oh, sorry. Yeah, I'm okay, just... itchy." She lipped at the healing wound once again, but it did little to soothe the irritation.
As Pan had backpedaled, so did the spotted mare, which made Pan laugh. "I didn't think it was weird," she said, laughing at herself as much as the other mare.
Her ears ticked forward at mention of the Peak, and she almost skipped right over the part about the healer, totally missing the mention of said healer being male. "I'm trying to get to the Peak, actually," she said. "I grew up there, and nothing has felt like home since, really. I'm just waiting for this to heal -- it bears weight alright, but climbing is a nightmare. I don't know what a healer could do for me, but..." She trailed off, realizing she had rambled far too much for a stranger interaction. She shrugged apologetically. "Worth a shot if I can make it up there."
