Mercy is for the weak (open) Posted on March 7, 2026 at 02:03:13 PM by Mercy
When the tobiano mare had been given notice that she was free from the lagoon she hadn't waited to ask questions, just traveled for the meadow as fast as she knew her young daughter could keep up. The filly wasn't as strong as she should have been, something Mercy felt guilty about, with the lagoon swamp dangerous for a young foal she had kept her contained in order to keep her safe but it had meant the foal hadn't had the space to run and build up her muscles, as a result she tired quickly.
Finally in the meadow she breathed a sigh of relief freedom at last.
Glancing down to her champagne filly she could see the sprint had already tired the child rest my sweet, we're safe here for now she said softly as the child laid down, her eyes closing. Mercy kept watch around her, she'd chosen the meadow instead of heading to the falls for the the abundance of grass here, she would hopefully be able to put some on some of the weight she had lost in the Lagoon. Her minded drifted to Abraxas, she wasn't sure what to make of him but he had done the one thing she had demanded of he wanted to be part of Sadie's life, she wouldn't keep him from his daughter, but he still had a way to go to earn her forgiveness.
And then there was the words that Khyber has said to her, about the lagoon holding a grudge. Would it really be too much to ask to just be rid of those from the lagoon? With a sigh she slowly started to nip at the grass, still keep her now sleeping daughter close. Replies:
