Tefnut
And the gasoline of my soul will come alive.
The world was brightening, but it was not as crisp as it should of been. Blinking her eyes, the red dun tried to focus everything but found herself growing a bit unsteady internally. Her eye, the left one, was not working right. Shaking her head, Tefnut about gave a choked sound when she heard who was coming closer speak his name. Her head jerked up, focusing her sight on him, and hiding that she was having some form of issue. She had never been in this position before, but she had noticed when she saw her birth father in the Dunes, that he had been fully blind in one eye. She had seen it, but never expected to actually have to face it.
“Augustus de Nicodemus?” She repeated, her brows pinching slightly before a lightbulb flickered to life in her head. She knew the name Nicodemus. Aadrika had been raised in the Inlet, which made her learn just a tiny bit about Nicodemus from her. SHe had no real knowledge of the Inlet leader, but from what she understood he was a calmer sort. It was Aadrika after all that had been headed to the Inlet a while back before Tefnut found herself here in the Commons. Maybe it was a sick game, or fate had decided to give her someone that was related to the man she had as a neighbor in the form of a stranger coming across her.
When he pointed out her flowers, Tefnut turned her head a bit and eyed the colorful things Aadrika had placed in her mane. “I am. I currently lead the Bay with my sister.” Turning back to the stallion, she eyed him quietly for a moment. “My name is Tefnut.” She might as well be kind of nice, even if she would rather chew on a stick and choke out pieces of bark considering how her mind spun on the fact he was half blurry.
