Rebel watch the youngster, he wasn’t sure if she was an adult yet, or still in that in between foal and adulthood stage, not that it matter to him, he was excited that he might have a friend a home, however that hope fell when she hesitated to take his offer at first, deflating slightly with his enthusiasm as he expected her to come up with some reason why she didn’t want to come to the Harbour, even if she did look like she could do with a good meal.. or several.
However when she said that she just needed to let someone back at the desert know where she was going he brightened really? Does that mean you’ll come to the harbour with me then? He tried not to get his hopes up with waiting for this confirmation, just in case he’d understood all that wrong, but it did seem very promising to him when she turned to walk towards the surf.
He quickly moved to follow her, his movement a little more animated in his excitement as he effectively pranced to her side, when she stopped he looked at her curiously. He was a little shocked that she made it from salem to here without really knowing how to swim. Whilst he’d picked it up quickly when his uncle taught him he couldn’t imagine swimming from one island to here without someone giving him guidance.
He smiled nodding his head of course, do you want me to come to salem with you? Only on the swim part, I can stay on beach whilst you go talk to Vana? he offered, feeling a little uneasy now in giving her some basic instructions and then letting her swim to salem and them to atlantis by herself with little swimming knowledge.
I have to say though, I’m impressed you manage to swim to here without any guidance or instructions, I remember my first time in the water and I don’t think I would have attempted that, you must be a natural at it he said, with no idea how to shield his emotions on his face the impressed look he gave her was all real.
