There is no honor among theives Posted on March 11, 2026 at 02:27:53 PM by Cullen
There was a reason he kept a close eye on Lucifer. A couple reasons, actually. Too bad he wastes all his hunger leading territories when he could be leading an army of stallions in the Lagoon. He might have made a good one. The stallions would fear crossing him, but at the same time respect his power. He might find respect comes to him easier than it had came to this old man.
Aside from Thane, his idol, Cullen has the longest standing Lagoon Boss of his lifetime. Though the current Boss was on his way there, Cullen wasn't sure he would make it. Garmr did have some promise for it, but time would tell. Stallions these days seem to tag along after mares too easily. Thranduil, for one. His distant relative could have been a great Lagoonie or a hood Thief if he hadn't already thrown it all away.
There was no time for all these thoughts to cross his mind. Not while he was staring into the eyes of a killer. Lucifer's gaze was dark, cold, and unforgiving. He had the means to end his life at this very moment if he didn't get control of himself. The various scars that line the body of his faded golden pelt were not from recent events. They spoke of his past and his own experience, but not of his current strengths.
Cullen was no more than an old man now who struggled just to simply walk. This is why his minions were supposed to be carrying out his legacy. Stupid fools kept dying.
Lucifer speaks, first sounding menacing, but then he seems to begin to calm. Seems the Dunes was not his favorite place to be with how he speaks of it. Still, he remains building a herd of mares like a normal leading stallion. But was he normal or just trying to be? He then asks how he was enjoying the Lagoon. A smirk slides across the old man's cracked lips.
"It has gotten more interesting," he replies before adding a hint of interest towards Lucifer. "You could make it even more interesting." He laughs followed by a few coughs. Stupid deterating body. "I hope you don't mind Penny snooping around." He was sure the stallion could smell his scent around the Dunes. Penny said he was careful, but only so much could remain a secret.
He had honestly thought Lucifer would have convinced Pennywise to join him by now. The young stallion had been willing to follow him from Atlantis to Salem. Replies: There have been no replies.
