The overo colt has gone to visit his mother recently, unbelievably she’d had twins with Drakon, although maybe it wasn’t all that odd considering both his mother and Drakon were each one half of a twin. He liked the stallion who made his mother happy, when he was a foal she had been miserable thinking she had lost Drakon forever, of course she tried to hide it, not wanting it to effect Rebel at that age, but now looking back it was easy to see how on edge and unhappy she was, for a while he thought that she would move to the Harbour with them, at least that was until her and Drakon settled back into a relationship. He’d found it hard leaving her but now he was maturing more he found himself going out and exploring the lands. His uncle wanted to keep him on a tight leash so to speak, but Rebel was nearly three and wanted to go out on his own at time. Blizzard had warned him about entering someone else territory and the mainland dangers that were the common, lagoon and the peak.
Impulsive and impressionable the young male often got himself into trouble by talking without thinking it through first. He often missed the subtle danger signs and could be reckless at times. Though right now he had just come to the waterfall to cool off and see who was around. As his hooves stepped into the shallow water towards the edge of the pool he drop his head to drink. Enjoying his fill and still with his nose playing in the water he stepped forward, stopping when the water was at knee height.
Lifting his head he closed his eyes, enjoying how the spray from the waterfall acted as a sort of mist, cooling him without soaking him.
