Re(6): Raining on people's parade

I guess you're diagnosing me based on what you read on the internet. I was never sure I was a card carrying alcoholic tho ya get shunned at AA if you don't talk the talk.

I hadn't been a lifelong drinker at all. I didn't even start til dad went to the nursing home, unlike most of the AA people who'd been drinking and hiding it for years. My shrink said I just didnt wanna quit. When I got my dui, I was motivated, wife was on my butt and I had good court ordered treatment with that MD. That got my attention, all right. That it was so easy for me to quit made me wonder if I was just drinking heavily and it became a habit when I was home alone or with family drinking like on a trip. But I never drank around her so didn't suffer cravings. I read people can break a 'habit' (as opposed to an addiction) in 2-3 weeks. So I dunno. The more educated in my group didn't white knuckle it (which I presume is when you're fighting it and have to call your sponsor and go to daily meetings.) They just followed the program and I'm not religious enough for that Baptist stuff.

Don't really care, you seem to be more worried about my drinking than I am, tho its apparent worrying about my health isn't your motivation, now, IS IT, Jimbo. Your'e just fucked up in the head, def not smart enough to be a sponsor or mentor. You reminded me of the girl in the Clint Eastwood movie,"Play Misty for Me". All radio people surely saw it. That girl was fucked up! Like you.
