Erik is a nice guy, but he aligns with these progressives, and in particular the mayor. He was, and remains, a pro-vaxer. His campaign has emphasized his ability to get along with the mayor. I don't think that is going to help the members. He will not call out the mayor, it is safer and gains more political points to call out the Tribune.
