Lucifer
For its my game you find yourself in.
Watching the distance, Lucifer was unsure what was coming. He could hear the sands moving with hooves walking along it, but with the wind facing a different direction, he was not able to scent them. It had him growing on edge, but when the sun finally haloed who was coming, the stallion let out a deep breath as the long legs of his crimson coated daughter became fully seen.
“What has brought you here?” He asks the mare, taking in the way she moved with a bit of unease in her stride. The black demon did not raise her to move this way, but he knew she also thought more about what was coming than he did himself. It had him tilting his head and watching her, waiting for her voice to fill the air and give him the answer he seeked. It took her a while to fully come to his side and talk, but once she did the stallion stiffened and blinked his crimson eyes at her.
Shaking his head after her words filled his ears, the stallion let out a grunt. “Thats not right.” He whispered, licking his lips. Tefnut was giving him information he did not need, but at the same time he found himself actually looking at the red mare with a touch of worry. “She is supposed to be dead?” The question managed to slip through dry lips, ones that struggled to form words as his throat constricted.
“She isn't though, father.” Tefnut whispered, something that had his heart racing in his chest. The one they were speaking of had vanished, or so he thought. Now, the black stallion was staring at his red daughter as she nodded towards the crossing. “She was there last I saw her. Badly banged up and showing scars of a battle.” Tefnut shrugged her shoulders before turning back to face her father. “Baba Yaga is not dead, but she wants the Forest and us to think that she is.”
