Very pleased to see that Garcia, Txanika, and Argoitia have been invited to participate in this. Well deserved. Someone in Spain was apparently paying close attention to their recent strong performances during the Dania season. (Alvaro Parro? Joseba Goienola? Kudos to you).
Truth be told, Garcia and Txanika are easily as good or better than some of the front court regulars on the Spanish partido circuit (ie, Masters Series et al). I hope they will get to compete in upcoming doubles partidos as well.
With apologies to other excellent young pelotaris like Gorka and Atain, I do believe that Argoitia is destined to become the best back courter in the world in the coming years if he continues on his current trajectory. Argoitia is already more than capable of turning in the kind of performance we just saw from Atain in Durango.
[And for those in charge of organzing partidos in Spain, please don't overlook Oyhenard. At his best he has a very high ceiling.]
