1. Local shop submitting repair estimate. The power train is fucked. If they say repair my plan is to transfer to the dealer. Let them repair, trade in, buy new. Pretty lucrative for the dealer who gets a piece of all three. The more likely outcome is totaled.
2. They found the Nissan. Also insured by State Farm. Liability decision not made. All three vehicles are State Farm. Police said Nissan. We shall see.
3. My neck is cracking constantly. I need an assessment before signing anything. I’m not in a lot of additional pain but there’s a knot on the back of my neck that’s definitely new.
Showed the collision video to the body shop. They got a kick out of it, wild collision. The pickup’s front tire hit my rear tire with not much force at all. But the tires colliding caused the pickup to essentially ride my tire up lifting it off the road a good 2 feet. I haven’t had even a parking lot fender bender in 25 years. Same for my wife. Replies:
