Re(6): Convenient forgetfulness.

Keep your dayjob bad boy. You still don't know how thoroughly Narcissism has been tested...since it because on everyone's mind back when Trumps 1st term behavior revealed itself.

As you studies should have mentioned, Trump's the poster dictator for the more advanced disorder.

What was your degree in at Hillside High? Dual studies in English and Psychology? That seems to be all you talk about since you never mention radio.

Make no mistake, my view of the broadcast radio crafts were fun but the backstabbing culture in Kansas City was somewhat intense in this market. I say that based on commments in here about radio and TV people BY radio and TV people. I always attributed that to the notion that traits for radio entertainment are similar to those common in ego-driven theater people. It never occurred to me those traits spilled over to radio sales tho...since they don't require specialized skills unique to radio except some light production talents to write and produce spots. Most radio spots all sound the same. In Wichita, continuity writers generally were clericals fluent in commercial-speak. But again, performers tended not to pay attention to sales except when they were voicing copy in their radio voices. I did some of that when I was jocking but news voices for CM's weren't so common. I managed an Addy in Wichita for one spot but I wasn't ever a sought-after voice talent--a surprise to me because I didn't even submit it. Maybe the lady who wrote the script.

Morning guys were always sought after but the midday and evening types didn't get much attention--just the drive time people. I played straitman for em--the Ed McMahon role for their comedy bits between newscasts. That was a long time ago but it was way more fun than interview police detectives for crime stories...and those too were pretty cookie cutter news-speak stories.

I doubt you ever heard me in radio except maybe when you were in high school or at KFDI selling rarely.
