A great race to bet. Derby odds can always be a bit strange since it's got such a mass media following, the more knowledgeable horse players are vastly outnumbered - a good thing, really.
No exhaustive analysis here, but I'll let you know what I've got brewing.
Mid/long straight win bets (all with an arguable shot): Really like Potente, followed by Danon Bourbon and Golden Tempo.
Exotic combos (you pick which ways ... I'll probably have box tris): Further Ado (my #1), with Commandment, So Happy, Chief Wallabee, Emerging Market and Renegade. Of those I'm least excited by Renegade, although I don't think the dreaded Post 1 hurts with his style. Replies:
