The month has flown by. Spring was nearly over which makes him realize he has done nothing for the Inlet except watch over his children. This comes after the sad news of Zavi's passing when she was found as the snow melted. He worried what had happened to her, but his new children had kept him too busy to venture away to learn anything. Sad to lose another family member and he felt even worse for Augustus who had found her. He wonders if Aadrika knows.
He shakes his head to try to rid himself of the bad thoughts while on his patrol. He had to stay focused just in case any intruders were snooping round the borders. Especially if someone has happened to already be in the Inlet. So far he has noticed nothing out of place as he moves through the trees to the open beach.
A warm breeze comes from across the ocean and lifts his hair. His eyes close for a moment to take in the smell of the sea. To just enjoy one peaceful moment before getting back to his busy lifestyle. Sometimes adventure still calls to him, but watching his family grow has been enough to keep him grounded in the Inlet. The stallion turns down the beach to begin walking along the water's edge.
