Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I turned into the monster;

Rutger
That her dreams were made of.

Silence was a welcome feeling in the grand scheme of things. However, it left a bitter taste on a stallions tongue as he stared off through the bog he now called home. It had been many months now since he took over this place, but it grew quieter and quieter the longer he remained boss. It had saved many, but at the same time he knew a predator could last a millenia stalking one target without ever actually going after them. Just knowing that did not ease the beast, no matter how much he wished he could.

Turning towards the sea, Rutger moved through the Lagoon. First it was the stiffer ground near the Commons. Tracing the upper most edge, Rutger took days of his life and made his way all the way around to where he wished to be. From the commons he hit the upper most point of the Lagoon, staring out over the bay like marsh that was almost fully enclosed by the stallions home. From there, he went farther down until he hit the other edge. The change from firm ground to sludge, mud, and anything else left its mark on his legs, chest, stomach, and haunches. Over half way covered in mud, one would wonder if he was a splash coated horse instead of a grey marked red roan.

Heading even farther along the edge, Rutger slowly came to a stop when he faced the island of Salem. It was a long ways out there, but in the distance he could see the pale island against the blue backdrop of the ocean. His green eyes scanned it all so strongly that something burned in his chest. He knew the real demon lived out there and many other monsters. However, as he turned his head to face the bog he called home, he questioned if the demons were ever really going to turn up here. Yes, the stallions here did what they wanted… but so many were plagued by this need to capture and procreate. There seemed to only be on in the darkness of this land that thought different… and that stallion, Rutger now noticed, was slinking through the bog towards him with ears pinned and a dark look upon his face.

”Wechuge."
