When I switched phones I lost my old texts with my best NBA buddy where I was calling out Brunson as a future starter, and then future all star. He scored 41 in the playoffs against an excellent Utah defense with Luka injured!

I'm like, his game looks weird as hell, but he just makes it work.

But man, I never saw him being the best player on a champion, no matter how well the rest of the team was constructed. Kid worked his fucking ass off and the fairy tale came true.
