I know it’s simplistic, but experience beat youth down the stretch of these games. That extra desperation on the defensive end

The Knicks would turn up the defense and San Antonio would panic. It pains me to say this, but they didn’t have a Brunson who the team could rely on to score points (even inefficiently) when under maximum stress. I think that needed to be Fox who blew ass all series. Wemby, Castle, and Harper could all have better careers, maybe by a lot, but they weren’t ready for what the Knicks brought down the stretch of multiple games.

Meanwhile the Knicks had Brunson (7 years in the league), Anunoby (8), and Towns (10).
