An honest update - I did not pass the Financial section of the CPA Exam.
In fact, I got a score of 70, five points shy of a passing grade.
I am reminded of James' opening statement in his letter to the dispersed disciples:
2 Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 NASB
Whether you're also taking the CPA Exam, testing for another certification, starting/building a business, or in school or the workforce, and especially in your walk with the Lord, it's not going to be easy. In fact, Jesus said that "the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life" (Matthew 7:14 NASB). But ask me 5-6 years ago, when I was in College, whether I would able to pass Regulation or even get a 70 in Financial, I would think that would be far-fetched.
Now, I have the next month to study up on where I fell short and hopefully pass this time. Whatever trial in life you are going through, keep going! Replies:
