Nothing is as good as it was back in the day when it was "pure", everything is a conspiracy or there's some baked in advantage from the wheeling and dealing of the epstein class, etc, etc. Different variations on the same point - this thing people seem to be happy about, well, they should be less happy about it then they think!

We have enough actual shit in the world, enough actual conspiracy, too much power and control held by too few people, we don't need Cynical Guy to go looking to invent more ways in which the world sucks.
