Inhaling smoke;

To let the spirits guide my way to you.

The soft whisper of a breeze carrying notes of tender love and affection brushed the soft lips of a red dun. Eyes of a pale blue blinked slowly, almost overly lazy in their movements. As the long lashes of the stallion's eyelids brush his cheeks, he lets a gentle smile curl his lips. His nostrils softly flare and flutter as he takes in a deep breath, pulling in the tender scents of the world around him. Lilies, cherry trees, and other soft scents invaded his nostrils, but as his eyes closed once more and his tender smile graced the earth sucked into darkness by so many, Alo could not help but let the hum of contentment escape his lungs and fill the bird song layered air with his own song of sorts.

Flicking his darker tipped ears lazily, Alo let the song of life flow through him. He enjoyed the tenderness it set in his gut, which was why, as he heard hooves, the stallion did not startle. Instead, he let his eyes open slowly and the fogginess from rest dissipated from his blue gaze. Looking ahead of him and through the trees, Alo spotted something of monochrome hue. He was slow on the uptake of what it was, but after a while he realized it was another horse. Grinning a bit broader, but still tender, the red male stretched forward with a soft grunt before taking a pace that matched a snail closer, making sure his steps forged his path with obvious intent.

“The songs of the frogs at night are better than what you have now.” Came his voice, its tone low and almost a rumbling whisper as he got closer to the black tobiano mare. Giving her another tender smile, one that was full of lazy kindness, Alo looked at the water that fell from the top of the falls. “Gorgeous isn't it?” Dipping his head, the last son of Nahawi gave the woman her space before lowering his head to the water slowly. “My name is Alo. It's lovely to find another that cherishes the waters.”
