Keeping his temper had never been easy, but it really was a work out right now with Nyimara. Letting out a soft breath though, the stallion lashed his tail before looking towards the waters of the Falls. He could tell her to go kick rocks, but something was stopping him from doing just that. He wanted off of that damn island. It ate at him every day with how bad he wanted off of it, but right now he wished he had kept his lips shut. Of course the viper of a woman could not see what was before her, and it was not really in Lucifer’s favor to do this.
“Weakened fools loose and then run away.” He finally snapped, turning back to her with a brow raised. Nyimara was not the worst injured of the two from the battle. Lucifer had suffered a true dislocation of his front leg, something he had yet to inflict on someone. He would in the future though, especially if this toxic equine was the one that ended up under his hooves again. He was forced to hold in the true darkness of himself though, which was barely visible by the way his skin itched and his usually bright gaze darkened with true, bottomless, hatred.
Rolling his eyes at the last bit of her words, the stallion just snorted. “Fine then. Do not get an easier way than fighting to get back to Salem, Nyimara.” Shaking his thick neck, the black beast turned away entirely. “I was gonna ask just for you to never touch my family in exchange, but it seems as if your enemies are worth more to you than a territory on your favorite island and the demon you hate most being off of it.” Lowering his head once more, Lucifer slowly pulled in a deep drink from the cold waters as he flicked his ear back at her.
