MIAMI BATTLECOURT, STU, QUINELLAS Posted on June 19, 2026 at 08:31:51 AM by John Donlon
Its not unusual for business models to predict losses in the first several years while building a brand. In fact its the norm. If you exceed expectations and turn a profit, then its outstanding and a great short term goal for a new business. I don't know if they are in trouble. From my understanding they get paid from the gambling platforms for the rights to stream battle court? If I understand this correctly thats how the generate income from the gambling platforms. Do they get any other source of money from the gambling platforms? I wish I knew. The gambling could be so much more. They should offer point by point betting, over serve/ under serve yes/no, team point ranges, ect.
The start time was silly last battle court season. I probably bet 7-10K through the hard rock app in the last season at Magic City and this season I bet maybe 200. All due to the start time. Also only having one night where people can attend makes zero sense. Finally you can tell from Stu's comments ownership and management are not fans of quinella. Instead of being against the quinella games why don't you have 8 quinellas leading up to the battle court games. You will get some cross over of quinella and battle court fans. For me I would start several battle court games with quinellas then the battle court match. Replies:
