Waiting till she had finished drinking he look between her and his father, he didn’t understand what they were talking about, although he recognised one thing from there short conversation, Tefnut. He knew the name, vaguely even remembered her from when he was young, he knew she had moved to another island and was now leader over there. He’d actually wanted to go visit her, but hadn’t had a chance to ask where exactly she was and although he was rash and reckless, he knew enough to not just wander into any old territory looking for her.
An idea struck him as he looked back to his father are you going to visit Tefnut? If so, can I come? He piped up, he could see no reason that his father should say no, of course he could have skipped the asking part and just followed his father, but there was no guarantee that his father would go straight to were ever she was and his father was wise enough that he would know his son was following him as well. The youngster might prefer not to have to ask permission and do what he pleased, but without the knowledge of where to go he would just be travelling blind, and that wasn’t such a good idea.

He didn’t understand anything of what was apparently going on, he knew no danger had come to The Dunes, at least not of yet and it made him wonder if his aunt knew of something that might threaten the life here? That would surely have warranted the mare making such a journey whilst obviously heavily pregnant.
