Thanks, Bob. An oversight on my part for not mentioning Katrina's passing on this forum. Below is a link from Defence on Katrina.
Katrina was one of my staff at 2SD in 1984.
I would never have imagined that she had aspirations to become a loadmaster. I believe 2SD was her first posting after graduating from Wagga as a clerk supply.
She was fresh, bubbly, courteous, and made a very positive impression.
As was my practice with all new arrivals to my area, I invited them into my office for a chat. Katrina was enthusiastic and positive about her future, and her outlook on life was refreshingly optimistic.
