Speak of the Devil;

Lucifer
And enter the game he creates.

Everyone was gone. It had been a while since that day, but it left something behind that had a soul burning with an emotion they rarely let themselves think about. Now though, faced with it and an overly silent territory, Lucifer looked off of the banks of Salem. His long tail twisted in the warm breeze of this island, but it no longer felt right. It should settle, that much he knew. However, the black demon turned slowly to look behind him. He would be doing something he should not be. He knew that deep in his gut. He should stay here, continue to follow the promise he swore he made. However, the emotionless stallion could no longer find favor on this island. Mazikeen and Marceline were both overly silent. The mare across the way he had yet to meet as far as he was aware for now was also deadly silent. It irked him. He missed the chaos that was Nyimara. They might hate each other, but at least he had something to do other than stare at his reflection in the oasis.

Sighing, the black male just let his head turn once. He looked back over his territory. He could scent his herd on the wind, but the only one that was prominent anymore was Teagan. He was happy to have her, even if he was more likely to give her a wilted rose over an actual gift. Lifting his head as he thought that, the stallion gave her a call. He would ask her to follow if she wished, but this time around, it was no longer thinking about everyone else. As his scent grew fainter on the territory edges, he wondered… just what the neighbors thought, especially the one that currently had his spawn in her territory.

When his call ended, Lucifer waited a moment before heading into the sea. His call had beckoned her, but it had not stated that he would wait. Instead, Lucifer hit the ocean with a loud crash. He did not stop, knowing this had to happen. Looking at the distance, with the sun going down and building a bright halo upon a distant island, Lucifer made up his mind.

No longer was he the Demon King in Salem.
