Garcia's serving was much better on this court than it has been at Dania. He even aced Oyhenard twice. Has he been practicing or is this just a shorter court? Perhaps both.
Libois's two-wall was ineffectual vs. Garcia who intercepted all but one of them. Libois's drop shot was too high and then when he adjusted in the second set, it was too low, going into the pad.
Gorka was mostly solid, missing only 2 or 3. Oyhenard just did not seem on, like he did last week. He had a poor streak in the 2nd set and it looked like his team were going to be destroyed at 11-5.
But then Libois suddenly came alive, reeling off 5 or 6 points in a row. He finally threw a smoking inside placement. He threw 2 split placements that confounded Garcia and Gorka. Why did he wait until the very end to get creative? But then his serve let him down and Oyhenard missed another one. Garcia served out the set and that was all she wrote. Replies:
