Grimalkin stood at the edge of the Commons, a sour look on his pale face. He'd stood here before, several times in fact, telling himself if he stepped over the imaginary line that marked where the Commons began he'd have a home. Somewhere to go, somewhere to be appreciated. And yet, each time he'd flick his tail and head back into the Falls to lick his metaphorical wounds and ignore his cracked pride. He'd been alone long enough, and while he originally thought he preferred it, the existence grew lonely.
His tail twitched, and for a moment he almost reverts to traditions but Grimalkin heaves a sigh and steps into the clearing. He's unsure who would want him, but there is no way to know without taking that risk.
Grimalkin takes careful steps across the grass, pinning his ears at most who get too close to him. Old habits die hard, he thinks, and he attempts to soften the expression on his face. It still looks a little like a grimace, but it's certainly an improvement. Rome was not built in a day and Grimalkin would not toss his shield away so easily. grimalkin marwari mutt 15.2hh amber cream pintaloosa khajiit x lulana |
