The looks that she gives him causes his chest to thump loudly. The two of them have gone as far as a relationship could go. They had a son together, in yet, that look she gives still makes him sweat. The large smile remains on his face as her lovely voice appeases his question. Seeing her happy was all he needed. If one of his mothers was in detress he couldn't stop himself to solve it for them.
Though something changes in her eyes. He wasn't sure what it was, but maybe everything wasn't as perfect as she says it is? "Is there something more you need?" He doesn't hesitate to ask. Maybe he has not done enough lately to make her feel loved. It could get difficult when you had multiple strong relationships, but he tried his best to make each feel their own kind of special.
It was little Rhonin who tries to butt into the conversation. "Dad let's play! He exclaims with excitement while he hops around them. Nico chuckles lightly, but shakes his head. "Hold on just a minute son. Let me finish talking with your mother first." The colt huffs as his hooves settle flat on the ground. He wants to protest, but Nico nudges his side. "Race to that tree there and I will be there shortly. Okay?"
