i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors

As he offers his muzzle in greeting she extends her own to exchange breaths. It has been so long and his scent did not smell of the Prairie. He smells unfamiliar which confirms what she already knew. He had left the Prairie to venture off somewhere. Maybe even left the islands entirely, but thankfully he has returned.

She doesn't have to wonder long as Lir answers her question without hesitation. This tells her that he wasn't lying about looking for family. As he states he finally found one of them she noticed the glow on his face. His smile was large and his eyes matched their intensity. He was truly happy to find his family just as she had been to find her own on her last trip to Luthien.

"That's okay," she shakes in response to his apology. Knowing that he was looking for family was all she needed to know. He then asks if she has decided to leave. She has waitied awhile, but it was all worth it. At least she hoped it would be. "Oh, I don't plan on it." A soft smile lights up her own face.

You see, Lileas here was a dreamer. She dreams of soft romance and happy days. She dreams of making a family all her own while growing her already loving one. "I have been waiting awhile, but it was all for you." Her lashes flutter as a giggle leaves her lips. "Actually when we first met last year I was visiting some family for the first time. My mother is from the Forest so she was showing me where her heritage comes from. So I completely understand the need to find your family. Actually, it makes you quite attractive."

"I came back to the Prairie because I have struck out on my own and this island calls to me more than my birth home of Tinuvel does." It was true. For some reason Luthein felt like that place she was meant to be. Lir just made it even better. "If you don't mind I would love to stay here with you. That is, if the Prairie is still yours." With him being gone she wasn't sure if the Prairie had changed hands. She hasn't noticed anyone else, but you never know.
