Dear Fellow AAA members
It has come to my notice that Lance Haslewood has been administering our Web Page and taking care of the general running of our communications with the AAA at his own expense. I have spoken with Lance and he has assured me he has no issue with the situation as it exists. He is willing to meet the considerable costs involved in maintaining our web site and this forum, approximately $300 per annum, as well as all the other incidental costs. I believe it is unfair and unacceptable for this situation to continue.
I feel, as I am sure many if not all AAA members would, that we should all make some financial contribution. To address this issue I have opened a dedicated bank account to which we can all deposit whatever we feel appropriate and affordable to help share the financial burden in keeping our Association functioning. On-line banking can be used to transfer funds and, as preferred by the individual contributor, it may be annonymous or identified.
The bank account is with Regional Australia Bank, Wingham Branch. BSB 932 000, A/c Number 100586812, named "AAA Admin Fund". I am happy to administer the account and to make available the Account Statements as they are issued. I have approached, by e-mail, those attending the Bi-Annual Reunion in Coffs Harbour. That exercise was interesting in that at least ten members have not advised Lance of their updated e-mail address which means it is not updated on individual profile pages on our AAA website. Could you each check and, if required, amend your contact details so that Lance can update your profile page.
