Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Freedom looked up to Kuroha when he addressed her and Nobody as "the other two". A small snort escaped her black lipped maw. He didn't know what to say? "How about you say you'll stay and help out here?" It came out a little sarcastic, but not really venomous. Turning back to Polera, her big blue eyes watched as he started to stir, ears laying back on her head in sympathy. He didn't have to help them, and now he was hurt... The gold and black fem stepped forward and helped Kin, raising the stranger to his feet.

Akemi could feel the vicious anger in Mugen and somthing of likeness in Kin. Turning to them, she let out an annoyed growl. The small black and violet plume lashed a warning, violet eyes narrowing. "Give him a break," she said, ashamed at her two brothers. "He didn't know. Mom didn't have the chance to tell him." Looking to Kuroha again, her eyes looked hopeful. "But he has the chance now.." Half of her warned herself that he might just move one, pretend like it never happened, pretend he heard wrong and they were mistaken... But there was still some hope.

Polera's head felt like it had been cleaved in two. 'Mental strain,' he told himself silently. Even though he hadn't made the effor, he felt his body being picked up to it's feet. He opened his yellow eyes, foggily registering the two younger pups that were holding him up.

Suddenly he sprang away from them, landing a few yards away, heavily bending on one leg. The muscle was tight. The black and white hybrid limped on the leg a little, turning to face the scene, wings spreading to stretch out the stiffness of the fall. All four felt like they'd been close to breaking only moments before. Giving a shake of his head, Polera backed up, glancing back only to see the edge of the cliff where the dragon had been. Stopping, he looked back to the group, feeling rather out of place. Here he was, intruding on a family's turf in the middle of what sounded like a crucial moment, and his brain was working on three less cylindars.

He thought about flying, seeing as the cliff was right behind him, but found that it would be a stupid move. His entire body ached, mind tired. And his wings... They hurt. Flying would more than likely mean a shortened term of life, something he wasn't planning on just yet.

The yellow eyes flicked, seeing two deep blue orbs fixed directly and only on him. Polera's nose twitched, catching her scent. Smooth and spicy, the scent of pine and jasmine. It was nothing like any of the others here, save for... His nose twitched again and his ears flicked toward the white and gold pup. Those two were related.

And there he stood, silent and off to the side, watching the strangers and his surroundings. As soon as he could, he would leave. He may have helped them, but Polera knew that they could refuse his generous offering... They could quite easily turn on him.
