During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The brujo's pads landed softly but firmly upon the earth that lay beneath his frame. In his time living in this terra, he had come the land as surely as he knew himself, and for moments at a time, he closed his eyes, allowing his other senses to thrive in the absence of sight. His skin felt the wind blow and felt the tiny pebbles that sometimes managed to find themselves between his, pads. The land, although seemingly flat, had slight inclines and declines that were barely noticeable. And then there was his scent and hearing both of which also became sharper in the absence of his sight. However, as the cold wind blew through his thick coat, a faint scent came to him. No, it was two scents, one familiar and one not. At the same time, the softest whine landed within his towers. So there was another newcomer hoping to find a place in this pack. Kalgalath's orbs snapped open as he realized that the familiar scent was that of Kong, his loyalest friend and the temporary head of the pack.

Kalgalath's haunches released their power to forward him toward the lupines whose scent lingered on the breeze. He wasn't in a hurray, but he had told Kong that he would accompany him whenever newcomers arrived in the terra. And he had, except for the latest one. The femme who he knew. Kalgalath had not believed that she would come, and had been surprised when her scent had drifted into the terra. He knew that she now waited for him, but he wasn't ready to talk to her. Not yet. He wasn't even sure what emotions ran through him mind when he thought of her. As he loped along the earth, he shook the thought of the femme out of his mind. He would go and see her after seeing Kong.
At that thought, a slight smile lay on his maw. Kong was probably once again questioning why the alphas had left him in charge. It was no surprise to Kalgalath, who could easily see how loyal Kong was to both the pack and Paranoia. Just then, a strong whiff of the two lupines infected his nares as the pair came into his vision. He slowed his pace until he landed him frame next to that of Kong, his own light coat deeply contrasting the night coat of Kong's. Kalgalath dipped his cranium respectively to his friend, and then waited to hear what the fae was going to say, not wanting to interrupt. He would introduce himself when the time came.
