The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

White and grey wolf Pictures, Images and Photos

Jewel walked along familiar trails inside the terra. Her and Jena were taking a short break from the borders, more of Jena's idea. Her excuse was Jewel needed to rest and that Baroq was around to help. Jewel didn't argue with her fosterling, she knew it would be no win for her. Jena had stopped off, investigating a scent trail that she had told Jewel not to worry about. If Jewel hadn't been so caught up in her own thoughts, she might of realized her daughter's worried and angry tone of voice. If she had then maybe she would of realized a intruder was around like Jena had. Instead, she simply kept on moving, her legs picking up a little pace, glad to be moving after being cramped up while sitting or laying down. Without realizing it, her legs carried her toward her den, and instincts finally caught up with her body. It was time, and damn it she'd be lying if she said she didn't almost cry out with joy. Truth be told a small excited whine came from her maw, so soft that if you weren't beside her you wouldn't hear it.

Her mind was so caught up in getting to the den, she almost forgot to call for Baroq. In fact her mind seemed to be telling her that he was already on his way, that he would already know. Perhaps that was the reason why she didn't call, her instincts telling her that he was already headed toward her. Being on the opposite side of the den, toward the back part, she didn't take the usual route. Perhaps if she had taken the trail she would of known that a enemy was close, but she didn't, and by then it was too late. Her paw steps became slower, as she neared, her heavy stomach pushing through the bushes and small limbs into the opening. Because of her coming from behind the den, the brute would probably notice her before she noticed him. However, it only took her a heartbeat to realize he was there after the snarl. One look gave her all she needed to know. Her body rose to Zeta position as she spoke her words cold and demanding. She knew this brute could possibly kill her before helped arrived, but this was her pack and home. Jewel would fight, no matter the consequences, even though she feared for her unborn pups.

You are on Andere Seite Pack lands male. I suggest you leave, before a pack member gets here you bastard. Perhaps calling him names was going to far, but Jewel felt like she had to. Simply to prove that she wasn’t scared, making sure that no fear scent came from her, even if she felt like trembling like a lost pup. No way would she show this brute that she was scared of him, more so of what he could do to her in her condition, then of him himself. For if she wasn’t side tracked by being pregnant, she would of rushed any fool that had so carelessly trespassed on her home. She didn’t know what this brute was thinking, but either way he’d soon regret, for if he harmed her, she was positive her Baroq would rip him intestines out and eat it while he was still alive. Oh how she would loved to watch. Her pink muscle came out to caress one of her lethal white fangs as she imagined what he tasted like. Since her pregnancy, Jewel had become quite blood thirsty, and the idea of tasting this brute was becoming more appealing by the second. A anxious whine almost escaped her maw, but she stopped it from even being hearable. She couldn’t allow this brute to harm her. So caught up in her anger, it wasn’t till then that she realized what he was chewing on and where he was at.

Since you stole from us, I can almost guarantee you'd be lucky to get out with your life, let alone a single scar, so run for your life. This is my den. MINE.

The last word was said with a poisonous voice as she revealed her fangs, her paws moving forth ever so slightly to bring her to the den's opening, which was only a wolf's length away from the brujo on the ground. She was showing her dominance toward the other male, making it clear that her words were a command. Perhaps he would leave without a fight, but even she doubted it. No wolf would dare enter pack lands unless he had some fight in him, but this brute would be at the end of his fight soon she was sure. Her mate was on his way she was sure, but all she could do was pray he got her soon. Until then, she would just have to hope this brute would hold off or leave. Her tail curled into Zeta position, she pricked her ears, as she lowered her neck. Pearls bared, she let a snarl come up from her throat, even as her paws began to ache from holding her weight up by standing at full height in one position for so long. She was just thankful that her muscles weren’t cramping up, for she might be in the fight for her life. Her mind considered fleeing and calling for help, but she might end up doing both if the male decided to fight. However, she acted as if she was going to stand her ground, and it might be one of the stupidest things she had ever done. However, she wasn’t just going to let some brute waltz in as if he owned the place. No, she be damned for, especially since she and her mate were the ones put in charge
