Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Ice Mountain wasn't too far from home. That made it a quick get away from pack life. True, Lucien didn't get involved in as much as one might think. He chose not to. Yes, he was involved to the proper degree as one of the three Betas of Ice, but the snow leopard was true to the relative isolated nature that was common in his species.

Even Selene, now grown, was off on her own adventures. He was quite proud of her, and his nephew was growing into a strong young panther as well. His family was doing well. Though his mind drifted to Lutra as he navigated down the mountainside with all the grace befitting any feline. She was well, he knew that much from their bond, but he couldn't pick out much else of what was going on in her mind.

Lucien moved silently with each step, snowshoe like paws muffling any sound. The mountains and the snow, that was where he was most at home. In the right places, if he was still enough, his white-grey fur and black circled spots allowed him to blend very well with the terrain. The only thing that might ever give him away were his bright blue eyes.

A gentle soul, this snow leopard, but he was always one to do what he needed to help those he cared about survive. Lucien lead a reltively simple life. The feline liked it that way, traversing the face of Ice Mountain like it was nothing, getting nearer and nearer to the base.
