The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

OOC: Psss, I'm telling you this so you don't get in trouble. Magic is not allowed to be used by any of the wolves on BF. It's against the rules. ^^

You shouldn't blame yourself.

The gossamer velca looked at Sadakah, feeling like her worst fears were realized. Did this girl already know about her? Was it written on her face or something? She grew a little puzzled. A slight nod was all she could think to give in reply, meanwhile she fought for control within herself. She was already angry at herself for crying. How could she be so weak? She had promised herself she wouldn't do that anymore! She wasn't going to crumple! Shaking her crania viciously, the bruja sent tiny tears scattering before taking a fore paw and wiping away at her face. When she was done, the huntress pasted on a smile and looked back over at the femora, who had decided to sit. Looking in her young orbs, the brutale could tell a short story was coming and she welcomed it, any distraction. Pricking her towers, she faced the maiden as she started talking. The first emotion to cross her features were those of sympathy. Her family was killed? She had to watch? Wow, Misty suddenly didn't feel so glum about her own life. At least, she'd had a decent upbringing and as far as she knew, her parents were still alive. She didn't have many siblings, just the two brothers and one sister and who knows where they ended up. Then she glanced back at Sadakah, hearing her words suddenly choke up. Soft golden orbs looked on the girl as she struggled for words and then stopped talking. So she was in pain, too. For some reason, that made Misty feel better. There were others who felt this way, too! The revelation came to her like a savior. The demoness felt guilty about her parents' death. She probably blamed herself, telling herself there was more she could have done, she should have done. Misty understood that.

For a moment, there was a pause and Misty took the moment to look around again, her nosrils tingling as they searched for signs of either of the alphas. She knew better than to say something about the young matron's past. It was obvious she didn't want to bring it back up any time soon, so she could respect that and let it go. Maybe in time they could sit and talk about it again and this time, actually talk about it. For now, she'd gotten a glimpse at the fem's pain and was glad to see her hide it once more, even if it meant she wasn't going to be facing it anytime soon. Who was she to talk? She had demons to face of her own and she didn't want to. A soft smile touched her labias. Friendship, huh? That's sweet. Her gold painted lanterns twinkled. The jezebel got distracted once more, though, twisting in such strange angles to chew her own hide. Fleas? Misty never really seemed to notice them. Must be her thick hide. She'd have to thank that arctic blood later. Finally, the belle sat up again and this time her pools were full of questions. The porcelain doll felt a little intimidated, not sure she'd be able to answer them all, but none the less, she pricked her auds to listen.

Hm, well to be honest, this is actually my return after a little break, if you will and I can't really picture either of them except I remember Kimani, the alpha female, is very pretty. The alpha male is Plague and he's very kind and gentle. As for what you should do, submitting is usually the first choice. That means you roll onto your back and tuck your tail while showing them your throat. Its your way of saying you trust them with your life and give your loyalty to the pack.

Her own twins were endearing as the dame rattled on. Such a talkative thing, she reminded her of herself. For a second, the minx had actually been thinking of submitting herself to show the damsel how to do it, but words seemed more professional and she felt she had explained it pretty decently. Her banner gave a short wave as she continued to watch the ess, wondering how she'd fare in the pack. Misty hadn't really seen many other wolves in her stay here, but she was sure they were around. Maybe they liked to hide and study like Kimani had done the first time she met her. In that case, would she ever make any friends? It was an odd thing to think, but now that she did, it seemed only obvious that she needed a close friend, someone she could talk to about everything, including Him. She just couldn't let the brujo she decided on fathering her pups be the one she turned to. That would be too repetitive and she was NOT going down that rabbit hole again. Never again. She shunned love.
