The golden tabby listened, clearly interested in what Rapier had to say. His tail lashed back and forth, a smile still playing on his features. So, this one had feline tendencies. Nothing wrong with that, Takeshi thought. Pity more wolves weren't like that. Far too social for his liking. The tiger preferred his interactions to include include inflicting pain on others. Though Rapier was not one of those he would inflict pain on. In fact, it sounded very much like this one enjoyed doing it himself.

"I see..." he said thoughtfully, "Well then, I do apologize that you didn't get to hear this one." Takeshi nodded slightly, knowing his manner was different. He preferred to inflict pain, mentally or physically. Anything else was just icing on the cake.

"Yes, there was a pup. But some meddling panther scooped it up before I had the chance to follow. I figure, let it grow up. He can hunt me down later and then meet his mother's fate," he said with a shrug. The pup escaping was of little consequence. "It was a simple death. She cowered in the corner of the cell she was trapped in, put to sleep, and then that was where the blood came. She didn't wake in time to pull away," there came another shrug, "She tried to fight back, but eventually her windpipe had a hole in it and her jugular severed. She bled out rather slowly." He finished with a grin, tail still lashing in amusement as he recalled it. "Her last words were ever so /touching/," he said with a laugh, "She might've cried out, but she wouldn't have had enough air in her lungs to do so."
