Alkaid couldn't see any of his reactions to what she did or say, her face remained rather sad and shy looking, the only thing that didn't give the look where her eyes still staring aimlessly forward and her ears which were focused on the sounds Niyol made. The mostly white pup side stepped away from the water slightly. Not sure she wanted to actually touch or go in for fear there was a ledge of some sort, often she had fallen from the top of their den into the hole and it hurt pretty bad each time. She figured she probably wouldn't be able to get out once she fell in either...

She waited to see if he knew where her home was and dismay passed through her when he said that he had never heard of the place, and he hardly left his home as well. "Oh, I understand." Her ears fell back for the first time, feeling truly saddened. Even if he did know there was no way she could probably make it. Already she felt a bit cold and a tad bit hungry, but to her those were both normal things...

"No," She responded feeling truely hopeless. Normally if she wandered to far from the den, someone would at least point her in the right direction, or her father would come get her after he figured she had suffered enough. "I don't even know where they went, or what they are doing." She admitted. It was odd that he seemed to care. The tones were a bit unfamiliar to her, but she recognized them as tones her mother would make to her and her father to Greed, but not very often were they directed at her. Alkaid sighed, she didn't know how much longer she could talk to the brute about her problems, after all they weren't really his burdens to bear.
