Kai stopped as soon as she saw her mother’s paw go up. It was apparent that she wasn’t going to finish closing the distance between them and the other part of their family. Well it was not time for the hunt she guessed, the thing her dad did everyday with Palladium. Here in a moment she would see just how hard or easy it was for him to catch and kill their dinner. As the growl came from her mother, the blue and black pup laid down, orange-gold eyes looking around. From this height she couldn’t see anything… And her mother blocked the view. She noticed that her father was staring at the clearing, as if gauging what was best to do.

Sam was getting tired of this laying down here doing nothing but feeling like his father’s brain was on the move. The mostly white pup had a feeling that most of the explaining now would come later rather than sooner. The pup let out an annoyed growl, though this was a display Sam wanted to charge in and get his dinner. He was starting to get really hungry with all the walking they had done that day and learning. Same figured he was dying at this point standing up and starting towards the little group, and out of all the pups he blended the least against the dead and dried leaves on the ground.

”Sam!” Siege hissed with a growl. “Samikle! Get back here now!” But the pup didn’t hear him and continued to run forward with out a care in the world. Oki looked around his father, and shrank back. Sam was going to get it once it was over… The brute didn’t hesitate any longer he sprang from his position but the herd had already looked over to see the white pup running towards them. Of course he would get impatient. Siege thought very much annoyed. It was something that Oki had and Sam seemed to lack slightly. The brute, slightly worried that they might hurt his son if they got to close, quickly closed the gap, and leaped over the brush. He landed in front of his white pelted son snarling and driving them away from him before starting the chase. Things would have been a lot easier if he had just waited.
