The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
Beauty in the eyes of the beholder; Hollowpoint

Dunskin and perlino dun. What a pair they made. Mother hadn't waited long before El Barroco's passing to find a new toy to mingle with. Leave it to a mare in estrus though. They were obviously foolish child like beings and Chimeras couldn't imagine herself like that one day. Sure it might happen but it wouldn't be anytime soon and not if she could help it. The perlino dun child just didn't see what the big deal was about carrying a foal with what one might consider first class stud. Okay so Hollowpoint was good looking she would say that much about him but what was mother's problem? Father wasn't even in the grave yet and she was all ready moving on. Not that the child had ever known her father but mother had mentioned him a time or two and now, she'd moved on so quickly. Chimeras would never understand her mother.

Anyway, the dunskin ushered her daughter along to the desert. This heat was something she was used to but the perlino dun hadn't been born here. No, she'd been born in the harbor if only briefly had they remained there. It wasn't long before Belita was ushering her out of the home she'd seen first hoof and off to swim around the islands. Tolling on her body of course being pregnant but the filly had it far harder. She was smaller and not used to swimming. By the time they made it into the desert, Chimeras sides were heaving. Momma, why'd it have to be so far away? Can't we rest yet? Grumbling, the pale filly danced on her toes before falling still at mother's permission. Yes, it was time to rest and the child was grateful.

Meanwhile, Belita called out for Hollowpoin, hoping that he might be around. After all, she'd made it clear that she would be heading to his home within due time. She'd just wanted to make sure her daughter was strong enough and healthy enough to make the trip across the waters. Which she had been thankfully. The perlino dun was a pretty hardy filly but still, the trip had been long and harsh and she found herself regretting making her daughter do it so soon and so readily. Waiting for Hollowpoing now, she sighed quietly and nudged her daughter. She hadn't known El Barroco herself and pitied that much. The child should have known her father but then, Belita had never bothered giving herself that chance.

So what's this dude like anyway momma? He better realize we're a package deal. Sighing again, Belita chuckled a little bit. Hush Chimeras. I'm sure he'll be fine with you being here. After all, you're not even a yearling yet and still nursing. He can't expect me to leave you behind. Now hush, I'm sure he'll be along soon. This being said, the pair waited somewhat patiently for the stallion's arrival.
