The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.
His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.
"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."
It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.
"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."
The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Emerald irises appeared just slivers of their fullness as the Alpha glared soundlessly at the girl who so obviously challenged her authority, before she relaxed her expression and swiftly closed the distance between them. She flitted nimbly on her paws to just before the girl, before swerving to the left to complete a circle around her frame. She did not make contact with the other female, but forced her body close enough so that her scent would engrave itself within the girls mind. When her voice slipped forth, it was hot with impatience and Seline’s temper. The Queen had just been pushed over the edge and was now blindly hot- while she had been pissed before she was now enraged. And really, that’s all it took to send her spiraling off the edge. A simple, meaningless yet aggravating sound the other girl produced. But the meaning behind it was worse, though it was a nice excuse for Seline. Her tone was acidic as she half cooed and half spat the words at the girl, not for her. "Aren’t you a tender piece of flesh, darling. Ever felt canines sink into flesh? Positively divine, my dear. Would you like to look as beautiful as me?" At her last words, Seline had finally completed her circle and now stood before the opposing female, before tilting her muzzle to the left and allowing the last dregs of sunlight to briefly illuminate her torn muzzle before the sun finally said it’s goodbye beneath the distant horizon. Not that this was anywhere viewable within the clearing, not with the thicket of pines surrounding them with their glory and delightful scents. Granted Seline’s hint of crimson tinged the air, but it was a pleasant mixture of aromas when it all came together. She was then quick to tilt her jaw back, focusing her emerald gaze hard on the girls own unknown coloured iris, before speaking again, curtly and slowly for her to comprehend. "My dear- if you ever speak to me in such a way again, or make that absolutely repulsive sound at me again- I will personally tear your throat out and lay it before you so you may watch your blood stain this very earth. And if I hear tell of you acting out of turn ever again, you be assured your life is not safe. This is your only warning." Without another gesture or word, Seline was soon focusing on her next wolf, a slightly older female who was quick to show. Turns out the older female was actually the first females mother, and as it was attempted to submit for herself and her foolish daughter. With a slight grimace of disgrace briefly accenting her maw Seline was quick to shake her muzzle at the Mother and motion with her jaw flicking up for the lady to get up. Her words were soon to amplify this. "Don’t take it upon yourself to apologize for your daughter’s foolish ways. She must learn on her own, as we all had to, just when to keep her trap shut. Isn’t that correct, sweety?" At this Seline glanced momentarily upon the female, White Love she had called herself, her gaze hard and unforgiving as she did so before returning her gaze back to the mother. "She needn’t concern you as this point, love. And it’s a pleasure to meet you Frost Fawn- Frost it is of course. I am Seline, newly appointed Alpha of Andere. Welcome to my world." Her last phrase was spoken with a subtle wink tossed toward the older female’s way, before Seline’ finally directed her attention to the group as a whole. When circling White Love, she had brought herself out into the open, and though the sun had long set there was just enough moon light as well as star light flitting down through the canopy to illuminate her frame, her markings of crimson blending with the matted blood within her fur. The blood flow had all but stopped at this point, and the longer she had stayed out in the open the longer she allowed the observation of her own frame to sink in to her wolves. They could all clearly see just what their Alpha had gone through to obtain her position, and that quite frankly- she was not a wolf to be messed with. She was located somewhat in the midst of the small clearing now, all four other wolves surrounding her from different angles, though there was no one behind her save for White Love and Frost Fawn who were more to her right then actually behind her. Seline took her time in roaming her gaze from wolf to wolf, obviously holding eye contact with them or an extended period of time, curious to how each wolf would react beneath her regal gaze. After she was finished, she soon parted her slender muzzle to speak, her voice loud enough for them all to hear yet soft enough so that any intruders would have to strain and risk coming awful close. "My dear underlings, though I have spoken to you each so far individually, making introductions- I would like to welcome you all now as a whole. I know there are many more to come- my family will be a rather large portion of that, though I’m sure Blossom has other wolves to my liking lurking around somewhere. So far all are welcome, though one of you has had her warning." Without voicing who it was, it was quite obvious as Seline had focused her gaze at that moment stone cold on the white girl who had pushed her over the edge. She had been close to sinking canines deep within the girls hide, giving her a rightful punishment but she had held back with strength- hell, the urge had not even showed across her face when it had occurred. Instead, Seline had focused inwardly to calm her beast and regain composure. She would not lose control just yet at this moment, instead, she would await a moment where her fury was vital, striking where it was needed the most. Come on, baby don't fear the reaper |
