Urumi took a bite out of her half of the fish. If she had noticed that Cashel wasn't very perceptive, there was no sign of it. In her mind, she was simply another wolf, just one that couldn't see. It was in that mindset that she got around as well as she did. The tan and white fem did not think of herself as disabled, not matter how much her brother had tried to convince her otherwise and that she was better off dead. Urumi nodded, listening to his words. "I do understand that feeling. Though I have a pack I call home, if the new alpha will keep me anyway," she said, her mind wandering to Coral Flower. To her knowledge, her mother had left. But Urumi felt a bit of comfort staying in Coral Flower, if only for the smell of the pack.
She took another bite of fish. Urumi's ears flicked at his next words. They had caught her off guard, causing her to almost inhale a bit of the fish. The two-toned fem coughed and cleared her throat. She tilted her head, ears pressed forward. That was the first time someone had ever said such a thing to her. But it seemed, off somehow. "Was that supposed to be a statement, or a question?" she asked. Though she did not openly show it, her face felt warm and flushed. Even if she had never seen herself, no one had ever called her beautiful (except perhaps her mother) before. Replies:
