The mother didn't stir one bit when her pups slipped away. it was rather easy to say that she hadn't gotten a lot of sleep since they came about and finally exhaustion had taken over her. The two pups didn't care though.

Alana wouldn't let her mean sister stray too far because even being this young she knew that their mother would worry if she woke up and they weren't within sight. However, she wasn't going to let Frenzy chew on her ears and get them all slobbery! She trotted along quickly, trying to keep herself ahead of her sibling so she could double back and run back towards their mother.

Alana was paying no attention to her surroundings; she was only focused keeping away from her sister. The female with the red-colored ruff of hair around her neck known as Frenzy had noticed something off about the snow-covered ground... There was a dusty brown color and what looked like a tail sticking up out of ground. Frenzy changed her course and decided to tackle the creature that was stalking them.
