During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Rhundus couldn’t hide his shock. It flashed through his crystal orbs like a streak of lighting, existing for a second and then sinking back into his mind. Ah, so this sweet little thing was more than she appeared to be. The hessian couldn’t hold back a deep, chesty chuckle, his ebon lips pulling back in a giddy snarl as he laughed. Good, so it looked like he wasn’t gonna have to explain why some weakling had been accepted into the back when Volbeat came back. Letting his little humor fit subside, the gray he-beast finally stopped moving, his cranium lowered below the line of his shoulders, flank to the new fae, portals burrowing deep into her own. They still held the same cold defiance, the same resistance, but now an amused pulse ran through their light aqua orbs.
“Ah, so the little lady has some bite in her,” he purred, snapping his jaws together to produce a loud clack that filled the air. Now that she actually showed some fight, the brute personally thought she might make an excellent addition to Volbeat’s new pack. Moving his large silhouette, Rhundus gave the femme a grand, fake bow, his entire front half lowering to the ground. Still keeping his skull low to the ground, he looked up at her, the same sadistic grin plastered to his kissers. “Please, do e x c u s e me princess, I didn’t mean to offend you. I just wouldn’t want to see your pretty little throat hanging in the bushes. A solitary life is not easy, sure, and scars aren’t pleasureable, you’re right. Forgive my impudence.” And then he was up again, another round of laughter bubbling up from his deep chest like the breathing black expanse of tar, truly chilling and not completely sane. He once again trotted around the ess, his banner floating along behind. This was quite the rare mood for Rhundus; he was usually a major downer, preferring to sit by himself and plot the demise of all those around him, fragile dreams that would never bud into reality. Still, there was something about these kinds of situations that just fired him up.

Finally calming his excited rump, the silver brujo sat down in front of the stranger, his lips closing to just display a simple grin, not too big and not too happy. Just perfect, the slight turning up of the lips that let your company know that they weren’t complete dead weights to the entire world. Their existence was at least tolerable. Taking a deep breath, he asked another question, one that was quite overdue. “But tell me princess, aren’t you forgetting something?” An eyebrow raised once again. “I’m pretty sure I need a name sweetie, and I only say that with the purest intentions.” He was talking about his use of the word ‘sweetie’, of course. It wasn’t meant to be mean or bring the lass down, it was just a generic name to call those of her gender. For some reason she had seemed offended to be called such a lovely term. Internally shrugging, Rhundus let the smirk fall from his features, the playfulness now gone, flown away just as fast as it had come to possess his limbs.
