Traydon River

This river is famously known for its fish!

Koguma was a powerful brute, and so the river's current, while it would likely take hold and pull him along for a while, probably wouldn't be enough to drag him under and drown him. Had it been a more wild river, perhaps the malamute would have feared for his safety, but as it was he was fairly sure he would survive the swim downstream a bit and come out alright on the other side of the river, away from this brutish cat. The cut on his nose stung something sharp, and Koguma shook his great head, ears flattening as he raised his lips in a growl. "You're a jerk," he barked, his own body tensing in reply to Maliki's preparatory pounce-position.

The dog's dark, soulful brown eyes narrowed a bit, watching Maliki and undaunted by the daring gaze of the lion. He wouldn't be tricked, and he certainly didn't want to pick a fight he knew he couldn't win. "I don't know what you've got against dogs," he called, sliding his hind paws back a little and hoping his bold words didn't further offend the irritated cat. "But I don't see why you'd go and scratch me like that. I didn't do anything to you." finished the dog simply, nodding his head and giving a soft snort. He hoped the lion would leave him alone after that proclamation; it was clear they weren't exactly on friendly terms any longer, and Koguma was beginning to doubt they ever had been.
