As soon as LZ smiled, Merlin knew that the large wolf was friendly. Of course, he had not doubted that before, considering how cuddly LZ appeared to him, but now it was confirmed. Only friendly people smiled! If Merlin was rambling, going on a bit, he didn't know it. He just kept talking until the bigger wolf decided to answer - as soon as he managed to. Looking up, exchanging glances between Ignitus and LZ, Merlin felt a rather smug grin falling on his lips. "Yeah!" he agreed with lz, shaking his head vigorously. He shot a smirk in Ignitus's direction, and the grythdragon snorted, shaking his head. "Well, I actually meant special as in well....simple. But- he started, explaining that although Merlin /was/ very "unique", he was a bit of a simpleton at times. Merlin was actually quite intelligent, truth be told, but just a little clumsy, over-enthusiastic, and over-friendly. "No!" interupted Merlin. "No, Iggy, don't spoil it. You meant it in a nice way." he flashed a smile, tail wagging despite having a large claw wrapped around him.

The teenaged boy continued to wag his tail as Lone Zelda leaned in to sniff him, and watched as memories seemed to spark in his mind. Merlin knew that he'd remember him! Or at least, remember his mother! He was glad to learn that he wasn't just forgotten, especially as he had originally been a stillborn pup. Which perhaps explained his excitedness and thrill for life. Merlin noticed, ears pricked, how wise and low-sounding Lone Zelda's voice was, and it all seemed very amazing to him.

The large wolf then explained how, in his opinion, he had managed to get so big. This left Merlin frowning a little. "Really? Well, I was born a stillborn, and then brought back to life, so how come I'm so..." he trailed off, nervously flicking his slate-blue eyes to look at his own body. He was skinny, dis-proportionate, and though he was quite tall, not really very big. "Um." he finished, embarrased. He didn't really want to admit how much of a weakling he looked like. Though perhaps, that was the Key to his enemy's. If anyone attacked him, he'd be able to fight back with his large array of blessings. His magic skills were gradually building up, and not everything was as it seemed with Merlin.

"I'm Merlin." replied the boy then. And then Ignitus placed the wolf back on the floor, so the boy toppled over a little before straightening out. He flashed another grin, waiting for Ignitus to introduce himself. "I'm Ignitus." said the large mythical, bowing his head graciously. And then he turned, in sync with Merlin, to see the fox that LZ adressed then. HI! said Merlin to the fox. Wow, I've never seen a fox before! he chirped, running up to get a good look at the winged creature.
