The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

I was new here, and needed to find a pack, first things first. My siblings, well, I wouldn't have the slightest clue of what they would be doing right now. Maybe WinterLeaf would be finding a pack. First time I was wise like him..and that would never happen again, and I would make sure of it. Too much of a cannibal too. Well the one thing about a pack, many wolves wouldn't want to get killed, and if the alpha knew you killed one of your fellow pack members, there you go. Out the window. Dead.

I continue to walk towards the pack lands, until I see a wolf jump infront of me. He happens to growl, and I kill the wolf with one snap of the neck. "A**, " I mumble to myself. He had gotten a scratch on my face. *Crap.* I think. Not the right way to approach a pack. Not with a scar. Oh well, it might actullay attract attention. I look back and see the wolf's body motionless on the ground. Why let some starving wolf get to eat this? Might as well eat it myself.

I lick my lips clean from eating the wolf. It was quite yummy, really. All the fresh blood and meat. I lick my chaps, cleaning off any excess blood. I continue to walk towards the pack lands again, watching my feet as I go.

I reach the border, and before I sit down, I see a group ahead in the pack lands. I was brave enough, so I walked towards them, and said, "I am AutumnLeaf and I would like to join your pack." My haunches hit the ground lightly. I wasn't afraid to speak. Never. Why would I be? I was an cannibal. Pure.

The scar on my head was bothering me, blood trickling down my face. I ignore this though, because if they knew I thought it was a problem, they would defintely not allow me in the pack. This one was strong. I knew it.
