Vex made sure she didn't inch close as possible to the brute. She was pretty sure he was safe, at least for now... But he could be up to a devious plan still. The day they first met.. Months ago, although it seemed years ago, was when he tricked her. But then again, Vex was so young and new to Wolf Mountain she couldn't tell a sneer to a smile. Now, her mind was sharp and her eyes quick. And this male did not look like he was here to harm. But he was a good actor. Perhaps he could put on a play sometime, she joked silently.

If he was so willing to actually come back, perhaps Vex would too. They had both hated each other, for so long... Maybe it was best for Vex to loosen up a bit, and give him a second chance. Only one more. If his evil mind decided to betray her, and break her heart again.. Then she would never come back. But this one time, she thought she would give him another chance.

Forgive, but don't forget.

She swished her tail, brushing off dirt and dust from the rock they sat on so peacefully together. The dirt was starting to irritate her tail. When she saw Talon starting to stand up, she looked over at him alarmed. But as he sat back down, she simply sighed and looked at the moon again. "Talon, if you had caught me in any other situation, yes, I would have attacked you the first chance I got." It was true. But tonight was so peaceful.. And Vex felt a peaceful state of mind. She felt the wind swirl around her, rustling her fur, and making her body feel calm and relaxed. "But tonight, I think you were lucky. You found the exact right time and place e to talk to me. And since I listened, you have won me."

She accepted his warm hug, turning toward him and smiling slightly. She closed her eyes, and then pushed herself into him happily, smiling. Her head was rested on his left shoulder. She opened them after a few seconds, staring at the moon... Her goddess. She then closed them again, feeling Talon's body rubbing against hers. "Talon, I love you too," she whispered. It seemed like forever they sat there hugging, before Vex finally pulled away slowly. She looked at him with serious eyes, instead of a blank gaze. "Talon, I will love you forever. That will always happen," she said firmly. "But if you try to betray me again, and our- /my/ love, then I will never come back."
