The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

I was so relieved to have found the sun setting in the horizon. Ugh, I hated that blasted ball of orange for the life of me. Creeping slowly out of the old den under the large oak, I peeked my head out of the den, letting my steel blues adjust to the surroundings around me. I could help but sniff at the sun-kissed air, none of my siblings were here yet. Good. I didn’t need them making a mess of our potential home until I could get invited in. I smoothly pulled my large form from under the tree den and gave my ebon coat a shake. I didn’t want to look a mess when trying to find a safe hold for us, the bomb I was about to drop on the alpha would be enough, I didn’t need to look like a vampire or cannibal or…serial killer. Whatever name wanted to be branded with I would gladly accept.

I moved softly towards the borders of Andere Seite, my muscles rolling under my midnight coat. It didn’t take me long to reach the borders and me to halt. My auds perked as the call for any new comers wanting to join to enter the pack and I couldn’t help but let a smirk etch it-self on my facial features. I picked my paw up and went to step over the border, and a slight sigh of relief escaped my slightly parted tiers as I moved forward into the pack territory. I made sure to stick to the shadows and to avoid the few rays of sun as much as possible. It didn’t take long before I got to the pack meeting and I just slowly lingered at first, checking out each wolf that was here. My steele greys rested on the ivory female with several crimson markings, almost like she had just finished a kill her-self. Perfect. There were also several males, including a white beast that stood out to me. I wasn’t sure what it was about him, but something stood out. Then there were several other wolves and a pup.
Pups, yumm.

I eased my-self towards the fae whom was perched on a small rock and dipped my head slightly in respect of her. I really wasn’t a wolf for graveling at the ground and exposing my-self, so hopefully this polite gesture would do for the time being. My lyrics were cold and low but smooth. Like a fine whiskey. I made sure not to directly look at the alpha fae, but to show the utmost respect during my presentation of my-self and to introduce the wolves that were sure to follow suite here shortly. This was, afterall where my scent would lead them.

Good evening M’lady. My name is Damon and I come seeking refuge for me and my siblings in this pack.

I didn’t feel like blurting out ‘oh and by the way we are vampires’ in my introduction speech, but it would come out after she spoke back, that was for sure. As long as none of my siblings showed up and tried to eat someone right off the bat. I couldn’t help but mentally roll my eyes at the thought of some of the pesky teens starting shit and me having to set things right. For now the mission was to come here and gain entry.
