Let my light shine. (Rush and Momo.)

Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

A crisp, chilling wind blew through Blossom Forest reminding all the inhabitants that winter was here. Flowers no longer grew in Blossom Field; instead a blanket of frost covered the ground. Now not only the burnt piece of land looked bare.

The ivory ess padded through the field the frozen grass crunching under her paws. Cai had wandered away from Saw Tooth trying to gather her thoughts and had found herself here in the wilderness. Alone. The pack meeting had brought back many memories, good and bad and the ess wanted some time to herself to relish those thoughts. She had not seen her mate for months now and she could only hope that he was caring for her babies. Hah, what was she thinking? Of course he was looking after them. He was such a good dad. The femme thought about the six pups she and Red had brought into the world and the joy she had felt as she watched them take their first breath. She wondered what they were like now. Of course they were teenagers just like Dib and Tally, but what did they look like? What were they like? Would they remember her? The lass gave out a heavy sigh as it dawned on her that she might never see her family again.

The wolf carried on walking through Blossom Forest her head hanging low. She was becoming more depressed by the second that was until she thought about the two daughters she had left. Tally and Dib were so beautiful and talented and she was so very proud of them. They were the only thing keeping her going, keeping her sane. Cai stopped in the middle of the surroundings and looked around. It was so quiet and peaceful and the ess relished in the silence. The lass lay down and placed her head gently on her paws. Maybe... just maybe somebody unexpected would find her.
